Add as a preferred source on Google Penta and Rey Fenix finally teamed up in WWE after Friday’s SmackDown at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Once the show went off the air, Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh jumped Fenix, who had beaten McDonagh to retain the AAA Cruiserweight Title. Penta ran down to make the save for his brother, and a tag match was made on the spot.
Working as the Lucha Bros, Penta and Fenix beat the two Judgment Day members in the dark match. It was the first time the brothers had teamed up since coming to WWE, even though both have been with the company since 2025.

The match was also their first time together since the July 19, 2024 episode of AEW Rampage, where they went over Private Party.
Penta and Fenix reunited as singles champions. Fenix is still the AAA Cruiserweight Champion, while Penta defends the Intercontinental Title against Chad Gable on night two of SummerSlam this Sunday.
