AEW will present a special edition of Dynamite honoring Tanea Brooks, better known to wrestling fans as Rebel, following her ALS diagnosis.

AEW Rebel Heart Dynamite will take place at Akins Ford Arena in Athens, Georgia, on Wednesday, September 9.

Rebel, who was part of AEW’s original roster, was diagnosed with ALS in March 2026 and publicly revealed the diagnosis in May. She is scheduled to make a special appearance during the September event.

A donation from the show will benefit I AM ALS and Team Gleason. I AM ALS works to improve treatment access, increase federal research funding and support people affected by the disease. Team Gleason provides assistive technology, equipment and care services to people living with ALS.

“On behalf of everyone at All Elite Wrestling, we are proud to present AEW Rebel Heart Dynamite on September 9 at Akins Ford Arena in Athens, GA,” Tony Khan said. “We look forward to honoring Rebel while also raising awareness and donations for two incredible organizations that are on the front lines of finding a cure for ALS and improving life for people affected by this terrible disease.”

Fans attending the show will receive a limited-edition Rebel trading card sheet from Upper Deck while supplies last. AEW has also released Rebel Heart shirts and bracelets, with 100 percent of the profits going to I AM ALS and Team Gleason.

Tickets for AEW Rebel Heart Dynamite go on sale Friday, July 31 at 10 a.m. Eastern time.
