Willow Nightingale will make her first appearance as AEW Women’s World Champion on the July 29 episode of Dynamite, which will feature a celebration for her title win.
The show will take place at Masonic Temple Theatre in Detroit, Michigan.
Nightingale won the title last night at AEW Redemption in Montreal, defeating Thekla. Late in the match, Skye Blue tried to interfere but was neutralized by the challenger, who reversed a Thekla spear into a backslide for the win.
The win also made Nightingale the first Women’s Triple Crown Champion in AEW history. She is a two-time TBS Champion and was also the inaugural AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champion alongside Harley Cameron.
Nightingale already has her first title defense set. The new champion will face Mercedes Moné at All In: London on August 30 at Wembley Stadium.
