Backstage, Thea Hail spoke with Skylar Raye, Lizzy Rain, Jaida Parker, Wren Sinclair and Kendal Grey ahead of tonight’s matches. Hail said NXT can be a tough environment and that, in tense moments, people can say things they later regret. She then wished Jaida luck in her match against Nattie.
Wren asked Kendal if she knew what she planned to say during her face-to-face with Lola Vice. The NXT Women’s Champion admitted she had not given it much thought, and the two left the locker room to close out the segment.

Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair made their entrances before Lola Vice joined them in the ring. Vice greeted the crowd and the NXT Women’s Champion.
Grey admitted she had expected Kelani Jordan or Kali Armstrong to emerge as her next challenger. Vice responded that she had overcome countless obstacles to reach the top of the division. Kendal acknowledged her journey but reminded Vice that her title reign ended when the two of them faced off.
Lola brought up their previous contract signing and said she saw a woman who was desperate to prove herself that night. Grey insisted she did not have to prove anything to anyone.
Vice argued that the champion still viewed herself as someone who was shy and easily intimidated. Kendal fired back by saying no woman in the locker room could beat her.
Lola said Grey was lucky to defeat her in a match, pointing out that a regular match was not the same as a fight. She then proposed an NXT Underground Match for the NXT Women’s Championship.
Grey accepted the challenge and vowed to make sure Vice could never dance again. The champion dropped the microphone and raised the title in front of her challenger as the two ended the segment with a staredown.

Backstage, Nattie, Karmen Petrovic and Nikkita Lyons approached Thea Hail. Nattie invited Hail to train at the Dungeon, saying it was the only way she could become a legend. If she refused, she would end up as a “soft bitch,” just like Jaida Parker. The trio walked away as Thea expressed hope that Parker would teach Nattie a lesson later in the night.

Backstage, Kelani Jordan tried to convince Robert Stone that poor officiating had cost her last week. The General Manager said he understood her frustration but made it clear that the referee’s decision would stand.
OTM then arrived, and Stone announced that Bronco Nima and Lucien Price will face BirthRight next week before bringing up an issue involving Los Perros del Mal.
Nima asked to discuss the matter privately. Although he was unhappy about it, Price went along with his partner’s decision.
