Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite was the show’s most-watched episode since April 2024.
The September 2 episode averaged 796,000 viewers on TBS. That is a slight increase from the previous week, when the August 26 Dynamite drew 793,000 viewers and a 0.18 rating in the 18-49 demo.
The key demo did not follow the overall number up, though. This week’s show did a 0.15 in 18-49 and finished second on cable for the night.
The last Dynamite to draw more was the April 10, 2024 episode, which averaged 819,000 viewers.

Will Ospreay made his first appearance as AEW World Champion after defeating Kenny Omega at Wembley, and his title match against Jon Moxley was announced for All Out. The show also featured AEW World Trios Championship and TNT Championship defenses, as well as a celebration of Mercedes Moné as AEW Women’s World Champion.
The 796,000 figure covers only the linear TBS broadcast. Dynamite also aired simultaneously on HBO Max, but viewership numbers for the streaming platform have not been released.
