Will Ospreay is set to make his first AEW World Championship defense against Jon Moxley at All Out. AEW confirmed the bout to close out Wednesday’s edition of Dynamite in Allen, Texas.
The announcement came in the wake of the main event. Gabe Kidd attempted to attack Ospreay with a steel chair, but Moxley stepped in and intercepted his Death Riders stablemate. Moments later, with Moxley and Ospreay standing face to face in the ring, the official match graphic flashed on the big screen.

2:27 AM · Sep 3, 2026Ospreay captured the AEW World Championship this past Sunday, August 30, defeating Kenny Omega in the main event of All In at Wembley Stadium in London.
The two have already crossed paths this year. At Dynasty on April 12, Moxley defeated Ospreay to retain the AEW Continental Championship. Ospreay later aligned with the Death Riders before parting ways with the faction following Redemption in July.
Moxley remains the AEW Continental Champion after successfully defending against Nigel McGuinness at All In. While the All Out clash pits two of AEW’s reigning champions against one another, only Ospreay’s world title will be on the line.
AEW All Out takes place September 26 at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
