Last Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, which aired September 16, drew 723,000 viewers on TBS.
The show posted a 0.16 rating in the 18-49 demographic, up from the 0.10 it drew on September 9, when Dynamite pulled in 571,000 viewers up against the NFL’s season opener.
That dip followed a September 2 show that had drawn 796,000 viewers and a 0.15 rating, meaning this week put Dynamite back over 700,000 after one show below that number.
Held at Chartway Arena in Norfolk, Virginia, the September 16 show finished second on cable behind South Park’s season premiere, which topped the night.
Death Riders closed the show with a win over Will Ospreay, Andrade El Ídolo and Francesco Akira, while Christian Cage, Adam Copeland, Darby Allin and Steven Borden beat FTR, Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight in an eight-man tag.
Dynamite also streamed simultaneously on HBO Max, whose viewership numbers aren’t released and so aren’t part of the 723,000 total logged on TBS.
