AEW is expected to add another women’s match to this Sunday’s All In pay-per-view at Wembley Stadium in London, England.
According to Self Made Pro, an internal AEW source said weeks ago that the company was planning three women’s matches for the event. So far, only two have been officially announced.
“I talked to somebody in AEW a couple weeks ago, and they told me that there were going to be three women’s matches on All In.
We only have two announced right now, so we’re going to get another women’s match announced here pretty soon.”
Willow Nightingale will put the AEW Women’s World Championship on the line against Mercedes Moné. Nightingale captured the title by defeating Thekla at Redemption on July 26, while Moné earned her shot at All In by winning the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup.
AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lena Kross) will also defend their titles against the Brawling Birds (Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor).
One name that could factor in is Thekla. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that the former AEW Women’s World Champion remains in the plans for All In, though no details about a potential match have been revealed.
AEW holds tonight’s Dynamite on August 26 from Glasgow, Scotland, the final episode before All In. The show could be where AEW officially adds the third women’s match to the card.
