Mercedes Moné cemented her place in pro wrestling history on Sunday. At AEW All In: London, held at Wembley Stadium, Moné defeated Willow Nightingale to capture the AEW Women’s World Championship for the first time.
The finish came when Moné locked in the Statement Maker. Nightingale never tapped, but the referee stopped the match after the champion appeared to lose consciousness in the hold.
The victory put Moné in a position no other wrestler has ever reached. She became the first person, male or female, to hold world championships in WWE, AEW, NJPW, and CMLL.
During her time in WWE as Sasha Banks, Moné won both the RAW Women’s Championship and the SmackDown Women’s Championship. After leaving the company, she defeated KAIRI at NJPW Battle in the Valley in 2023 to capture the IWGP Women’s Championship.

8:22 PM · Aug 30, 2026Moné added the CMLL World Women’s Championship in June 2025, defeating Zeuxis at AEW Grand Slam: Mexico at Arena México. She held that title until March of this year, when she dropped it to Persephone.
That left only AEW’s top women’s title. Moné had previously come up short at All In 2025, losing to Toni Storm. This time, she entered Wembley as the back-to-back winner of the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament.
The championship win came at a physical cost. During the post-show press conference, Moné confirmed she suffered a broken nose early in the match and needed stitches immediately after leaving the ring.
Now the AEW Women’s World Champion, Moné has confirmed she will hold a celebration on the next episode of AEW Dynamite.
