Hank & Tank, the team of Hank Walker and Tank Ledger, advanced to the quarterfinals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic with a win over Shido Ash and Viktor Zanov on Tuesday’s episode of WWE NXT.
The early going belonged to Ash and Zanov, who leaned mostly on their physical advantage to control Walker. Hank & Tank rallied late, however, hitting their double-team finisher and scoring the pinfall for the win.
The win sets Hank & Tank up for a quarterfinal match against The Creed Brothers, Julius and Brutus Creed. The Creeds advanced earlier in the tournament by defeating Harley Riggins and Jax Presley. Julius and Brutus won the tournament in 2022.
Tuesday’s match was not the first meeting between the two teams this year. Walker and Ledger beat Ash and Zanov in a dark match at the Performance Center on April 14, during the NXT Revenge taping.
Hank & Tank have also held the NXT Tag Team Championship. They beat Fraxiom at Stand & Deliver 2025 and held the titles for 127 days before losing them to DarkState at Heatwave later that year.
