During a Q&A session on Instagram, a fan asked whether he missed WWE and if he would return for a match.
“No!!! But I would definitely like to wrestle Rey Mysterio and Carmelo again.”
“You know, I love this business, and now with AEW kind of working with many different companies—like, you know, in WWE—I was just stuck. With AEW, you have more freedom.”
In the final stretch of his last WWE run, Andrade spent time alongside Rey Mysterio, including facing Dominik Mysterio and Santos Escobar at WrestleMania XL in 2024 after aligning with the LWO.
With Carmelo Hayes, Andrade had a long series of matches on Friday Night SmackDown, leading to a rivalry that played out over several weeks.
In other words, despite his respect for Rey Mysterio and Carmelo Hayes, Andrade does not appear to be in any hurry to return to WWE.
