Bayley is in one of the longest title droughts of her recent WWE career. The former WWE Women’s Champion has not won a title since April 7, 2024, when she defeated IYO SKY at WrestleMania XL.
August 4, 2024, effectively marks the start of her stretch without a championship, as that was the SummerSlam weekend when Nia Jax defeated her to win the WWE Women’s Championship.
Since then, Bayley has remained involved in major storylines, but she has not returned to the top of any division. At WrestleMania 41, she was scheduled to team with Lyra Valkyria to challenge for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, but she was pulled from the match after a backstage attack and replaced by Becky Lynch.
WWE still put her back in the title picture. In March of this year, Bayley won a Gauntlet Match on Monday Night RAW to earn the right to challenge AJ Lee for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.

That opportunity ended in another loss. On the March 16 episode of RAW, AJ Lee retained the title by locking in the Black Widow and making Bayley tap out.
Bayley is still treated by WWE as one of the most important women of her generation, with past runs as WWE Women’s Champion, SmackDown Women’s Champion, RAW Women’s Champion, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, and NXT Women’s Champion.
At this point, her contract with the company is listed through the end of 2026.
