Growing signs suggest Bayley may have already re-signed with WWE after weeks of departure speculation.

Bayley May Have Already Re-Signed With WWE

Bayley’s future with WWE appears to be nearing a resolution. After weeks of speculation about a potential departure from the company, fresh signs point to the former champion remaining on the roster.

On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez floated the possibility that Bayley has already re-signed with WWE. That speculation picked up even more steam following the August 24 episode of Monday Night RAW, where Lyra Valkyria once again directly referenced her former partner.

During a backstage segment with Sol Ruca and IYO SKY, Valkyria tried to talk Ruca into giving up her upcoming Women’s Intercontinental Championship opportunity. When Ruca told her to earn her own shot, Valkyria fired back that Bayley used to talk to her the same way.

Meltzer’s reasoning is that WWE would be unlikely to keep name-dropping Bayley on television if they genuinely believed she was on her way out. That represents a notable shift from early August, when Meltzer himself reported that Bayley had not yet signed a new deal.

Alvarez had also reported that people within AEW believed Bayley’s current contract could run through January 2027 if WWE does not tack on any additional time. Put simply, there has never been a publicly confirmed expiration date for her deal.

On top of that, Bayley has been publicly engaging with WWE talent again. She asked to speak with General Manager Adam Pearce and got into a back-and-forth with Blake Monroe, who challenged her to show up on SmackDown.

Despite all of these signs, there has been no official confirmation that Bayley has re-signed with WWE.
