Bayley’s future has become a hot topic over the last several hours, especially after she fueled speculation about a potential departure from WWE and a move to AEW.
The buzz picked up when Bayley posted a training video set to the song “All In,” captioned “All or Nothing, baby.” The title was immediately tied to AEW All In: London, scheduled for August 30 at Wembley Stadium.
However, according to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, people within AEW are confused by the whole situation. Alvarez reported that Bayley’s current WWE contract may run through January 2027, not counting any additional time the company could tack on. That rules out an All In appearance.
The timeline is notable because previous Fightful reports had placed her contract expiration at the end of 2026.
Some people in AEW are also “baffled” by this entire situation.

11:37 AM · Aug 12, 2026Bayley herself stated in April 2025 that she had roughly a year and a half left on her deal, which would have originally put the expiration around the second half of this year.
Bayley has yet to sign a new deal. Dave Meltzer reported that the decision remains in her hands and believes her return to TV may hinge on reaching a new agreement. Her last televised match came on July 18, a loss to Lyra Valkyria on Saturday Night’s Main Event at Madison Square Garden. She also worked a WWE live event on July 26.
AEW’s interest is nothing new. Fightful sources indicated that internal discussions about Bayley have been going on for close to a year.
A jump remains a possibility, but any resolution may not come until 2027.
