Bayley Once Again Teases Possible AEW Future Amid WWE Contract Uncertainty

Bayley fuels AEW speculation with social media teases as her WWE contract nears expiration in late 2026.

Bayley Once Again Teases Possible AEW Future Amid WWE Contract Uncertainty

Bayley’s future in WWE remains completely up in the air. She’s still under contract, but her current deal is expected to expire before the end of 2026, and sources within the company say no extension has been signed. WWE, for its part, wants to keep her.

AEW’s involvement makes the situation even more significant. According to Fightful Select, AEW has been internally discussing a potential Bayley signing for close to a year and has strong interest in making her an offer if she hits the open market.

Now Bayley herself has added fuel to the fire. In a training video alongside AJ Lee and Mercedes Moné, she posted the caption:

“all or nothing, baby”

The song chosen for the video was “All In,” and fans quickly connected both choices to All In and Double or Nothing, two of AEW‘s marquee pay-per-views. There’s been no confirmation, however, that the references were intentional.

All of this comes just weeks after Lyra Valkyria defeated Bayley on the July 18 Saturday Night’s Main Event at Madison Square Garden and attacked her after the match. Dave Meltzer later noted that Bayley has a big decision ahead of her, though her contract still has several months left to run.

There’s also the Mercedes Moné factor. In June, the AEW star shared a fan-made poster promoting a potential match against Bayley, even using her old ring name “Davina Rose,” for WrestleDream 2026.

Bayley herself revealed back in April 2025 that she had roughly a year and a half remaining on her deal, which would place the expiration right around Q4 2026.

As things stand, there is no agreement between Bayley and AEW. But for the first time in years, leaving WWE looks like a real possibility.
