BDE has claimed the final spot in the TNA X Division Championship match at Bound For Glory.
He earned the spot by beating Mr. Elegance in a qualifying match on Thursday’s TNA Impact, which was taped at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio. BDE caught Elegance by surprise with a roll-up late in the match to score the pinfall.
The victory rounded out the field for the Six-Way Scramble and gave BDE his first singles win in TNA. It also avenged an earlier loss to Elegance.
That loss came on July 23, when Elegance defeated BDE in just over three minutes following a distraction from the Elegance Brand.
The X Division Championship has been vacant since Leon Slater invoked Option C. Slater defeated Cedric Alexander for the title at Lockdown before giving it up to challenge TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth at Bound For Glory.
Bound For Glory is set for Sunday, October 11, at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida.
