Brock Lesnar is back on WWE programming. On this week’s Monday Night RAW, held at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina, “The Beast Incarnate” made a surprise appearance and attacked Oba Femi before another edition of his Open Challenge.
The moment came as a major surprise, as Lesnar had strongly teased retirement at WrestleMania 42 after losing to Femi in the opening match of night two. After the match, he left his boots and gloves in the center of the ring, creating the feeling that his career had come to an end.
Since then, WWE had been trying to present Femi as an almost untouchable force on RAW. Last week, no one accepted his open challenge, leading Adam Pearce to cancel the segment. Femi then took matters into his own hands, dragging Los Garza to the ring and destroying them.

Lesnar’s return completely changes the direction of that story. Up to this point, the idea was that Femi had ended “The Beast’s” career and started a new phase of absolute dominance on the red brand.
Now, WWE appears likely to revisit the rivalry between the two, possibly building to another major match at one of the company’s upcoming events.
Femi had already called out Roman Reigns after WrestleMania 42, but Lesnar’s return should put the immediate focus back on unfinished business between the two giants.
