Je’Von Evans already knows what he’d do if he breaks Randy Orton’s record as WWE‘s youngest world champion. He wants to bring back the Big Gold belt.
Evans spoke to The Wrestling Classic during the SummerSlam 2026 media junket and said restoring the belt is directly tied to his chase of Orton’s record. Asked which version of a world title belt he’d want brought back, Evans first mentioned the Spinner Belt before landing on the Big Gold.
“I would love to bring back the spinner belt, but I’m very, very, very focused on breaking Randy [Orton]’s record right now. So if I get to break that record, I would have to bring back Big Goldie, bro. It’s so fire. I have to bring it back.”
Orton set the record at SummerSlam on 8/15/2004, defeating Chris Benoit for his first World Heavyweight Championship at just 24 years old. The belt he won that night was the Big Gold.
The World Heavyweight Championship was active from 2002 to 2013. Its lineage ended at TLC on 12/15/2013, when Orton, then the WWE Champion, defeated World Heavyweight Champion John Cena in a Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match to unify the titles.
