Solo Sikoa’s babyface run may last longer than WWE originally planned.

WrestleVotes Radio, via Fightful Select, reports Sikoa’s current character was only meant to be a short-term change, but the reaction from fans and from people backstage has already led to talks about extending it.

A creative team source said Sikoa’s recent work has gotten a lot of praise internally. One talent said Sikoa is among the funniest people in the locker room and was glad he’s finally getting to show that on TV.

Sikoa got over after MFT split on the June 26 SmackDown, with Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga walking out on him. He’s since refused to rejoin Roman Reigns’ Bloodline and has been running with LA Knight and Royce Keys.

The three of them face Jacob Fatu and The Usos at SummerSlam this Saturday, August 1, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

Sikoa also offered to help Seth Rollins against Reigns and the Bloodline on the July 20 RAW.

No final call has been made on how long the turn lasts, but the backstage reaction could keep Sikoa’s program with The Bloodline going past SummerSlam instead of wrapping with the six-man.
