Add as a preferred source on Google Solo Sikoa has been carving out a bigger role in WWE programming since the end of MFT. He’s stepped away from his job as a stable leader to become an unpredictable factor in the war between Roman Reigns and The Bloodline.
According to WRKD Wrestling, the growth Sikoa has shown over the past few weeks has gone over very well backstage. WWE plans to keep developing his character on its weekly shows, with an even bigger role for him in the coming months.
The shift began when Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga left MFT after blaming Sikoa for their loss in a WWE Tag Team Championship match. Sikoa has since turned down multiple recruitment attempts from Jacob Fatu and The Usos, making clear he has no plans to return to his family.

On the July 13 episode of Monday Night RAW, Sikoa even pretended he would agree to reunite with The Bloodline. Instead, he attacked Jimmy Uso and Jacob Fatu, letting LA Knight and Royce Keys jump into the chaos as well. The segment led to a Six-Man Tag Team Match being confirmed for SummerSlam.
The following week, Sikoa also tried to align himself with Seth Rollins, offering help against Roman Reigns. Rollins turned down the offer, but the segment placed Sikoa directly into the World Heavyweight Championship story, on top of his own feud with The Bloodline.
Sikoa will team with LA Knight and Royce Keys to take on Jacob Fatu, Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso at SummerSlam on August 1 in Minneapolis. The spotlight WWE has given him across two of its top storylines suggests this new chapter is expected to continue beyond the event.
