There was more pressure than usual on WWE’s creative team heading into the 7/27 RAW at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, with Netflix executives in the building for the show.

WrestleVotes Radio reported, via Fightful Select, that several people involved in putting the show together felt it carried extra weight backstage, largely because the Netflix brass were watching live from the arena.

It was also the go-home RAW for SummerSlam. The show featured the final face-to-face between Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, the weigh-in for Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi, a title change, and an appearance from boxer Ryan Garcia.

The venue added to it. The Intuit Dome is the same building that hosted RAW’s Netflix debut in January 2025.

There’s no indication Netflix is unhappy with the deal. Back in May, Netflix VP of sports Gabe Spitzer said WWE had outperformed what the platform expected.

RAW has stayed near the top of Netflix’s charts, too. The 7/13 show did 2.4 million global views and finished sixth worldwide, a week after the 7/6 episode hit 2.5 million.

Triple H still has final say on creative. Ryan Ward runs the RAW and SmackDown writing teams, with Jonathan Baeckstrom and Alexandra Williams heading up the RAW side day to day.
