The Death Riders are not expected to add new members in AEW anytime soon. At least that is what Claudio Castagnoli says, as he still sees Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia as developing names within the group.

During a recent interview with 107.7 The Bone, Castagnoli said the stable is not actively looking for young talent.

“I kind of still look at (Wheeler) Yuta and (Daniel) Garcia as our projects that we bring up. And I’m extremely proud of both of them. They’re both amazing talents and they both keep me on my toes.”

“I don’t look for new talent like that, or I don’t look at anybody, even when Garcia joined us, we didn’t necessarily go out and scout or whatever you would do.”

“If somebody needs to find their way to us, they’ll find their way to us.”

Garcia joined the Death Riders in September 2025, when he attacked Darby Allin after the main event of AEW Dynamite and left the ring alongside Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir.

A few days later, AEW was already presenting Garcia as a member of the Death Riders, highlighting his first match alongside Moxley and his win over Kyle O’Reilly.

The group remains heavily involved on AEW programming. On the most recent AEW Collision, Moxley led Castagnoli, PAC, Garcia, and Marina Shafir into a violent Cincinnati Street Fight against Shane Taylor Promotions, with the Death Riders picking up the win.

So despite the natural speculation about potential new names, Claudio made it clear that, for the Death Riders, Yuta and Garcia are still the group’s main internal projects.
