Cody Rhodes is facing heavy criticism on social media after telling a story involving Aaron Solo and Fallon Henley on the What Do You Wanna Talk About? podcast.

Henley was the latest guest on the show, appearing in a 56-minute episode produced by WWE and Fanatics, where she discussed Shawn Michaels, Fatal Influence, and the future of the women’s division.

During the conversation, Rhodes recalled the period when Henley was working in AEW and said Solo was interested in her, but took about a month before finally trying to approach her.

“He often talked about you very fondly and very sincerely. Like, ‘She’s so pretty, she’s really smart’ this whole thing. He didn’t talk a lot if you remember. Not Mr. Personality. Last time I saw him, I reintroduced myself to him, because that’s how limited our conversations have become over the years.

He had said so much that we were all like, ‘Well you should go talk to her.’ This is a basic, common, you learn this in high school, ‘You should say hello, you should ask her if she wants to hang out, you should do anything. Anything other than talk to us about it.’”

Despite the lighthearted tone of the story, some fans criticized Rhodes for turning what they viewed as a private and awkward situation into public content.

Some users said the story felt like something that should have stayed backstage, while others defended Cody and pointed out that Solo did not appear to be bothered by it.
