Fallon Henley opened up about one of the biggest inspirations behind the start of her pro-wrestling career.

Speaking on Cody Rhodes’ What Do You Wanna Talk About?, the Fatal Influence member named Bayley and Sasha Banks as important figures in her career.

“What Bayley and Sasha Banks did in NXT was huge for women, just huge. So to be able, like, because obviously I didn’t know much about wrestling before then. But when you would hear the people talk about it and you would see the crowd and you would see the way they were able to connect. It just blossomed. And because of them, and because of all the women before them, it’s led us to be able to do what we do today.”

The most remembered match between Bayley and Banks took place at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn on August 22, 2015, when Bayley defeated Banks to win the NXT Women’s Championship.

Henley’s comments come during a major transition period for her in WWE. Fatal Influence, the trio of Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid, arrived on Friday Night SmackDown after WrestleMania 42 by attacking Paige, Brie Bella, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss during a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match.

In another part of the same interview, Henley said being on SmackDown still feels like a dream, especially while sharing space with names such as Paige, Brie Bella, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.

Before the move, Henley won the NXT Women’s North American Championship, the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship and the WWE Women’s Speed Championship.
