Dragon Lee may be close to returning to the ring for WWE. The wrestler posted a short message Wednesday on his official X account, writing only “2-3 weeks” without offering any further explanation.
His absence stands out because Lee has not competed since the second night of WrestleMania 42 on April 19, when he took part in the Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship. On that night, Penta defeated Lee, Rey Mysterio, Je’Von Evans, Rusev, and JD McDonagh to retain the title.
According to Cory Hays, Dragon Lee was said to have come out of the Showcase of the Immortals “banged up.” So far, there has been no official confirmation on what physical issue may be affecting him, though Lee was seen favoring his leg after the match.
Even while away from the ring, Lee made a public WWE appearance last weekend, taking part in a meet and greet alongside Rey Fenix in Los Angeles.
Interestingly, the timeline mentioned by Lee comes close to Noche de los Grandes, the AAA event scheduled for May 30 in Mexico.
