Add as a preferred source on Google Angel Garza and Berto fueled rumors about their futures in WWE following this week’s Monday Night RAW, held in Knoxville, Tennessee.
One of the highlights of the show was the continuation of Oba Femi’s Open Challenge. However, Adam Pearce announced that no one backstage had accepted the challenge. Frustrated, Femi left the ring, went to Gorilla Position, and found Los Garza, dragging both men to the ring.
The bout was made official as a Handicap Match. Femi quickly dominated Garza and Humberto Carrillo, threw Garza out of the ring, and picked up the win after hitting the Fall From Grace on Berto.
Shortly after, Garza posted a cryptic message on his official X account:
“Thank you to everyone who never jumped off the ship and kept supporting the Garza Legacy through it all.”
The situation gained even more traction because, on top of the statement, both Garza and Berto posted all-black images on their X profiles, which many fans took as a possible sign of a farewell or unhappiness.
It’s worth remembering that Los Garza had been trying to earn a spot in WWE since the purchase of AAA. In June 2025, the duo won the AAA Tag Team Championship at TripleMania Regia, defeating Pagano and Psycho Clown, Nic and Ryan Nemeth, and Sanson and Forastero.
