Dragon Lee will continue with WWE for years to come.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Lee signed a new contract with WWE, as his previous deal was set to expire in October.
Although it is not confirmed, people close to the situation believe that Lee signed a new five-year contract, which would keep him with WWE until at least 2031.
WWE’s renewal with Lee had been expected since September, when we reported that the company did not want to lose the wrestler because it considered him too valuable.
Lee has been receiving good opportunities on WWE TV in recent months, having received a chance at the Intercontinental Championship on Monday’s Raw, when he faced Chad Gable and Rey Mysterio.
The renewal also ends speculation that had come up recently. Both Lee and his brother Dralistico had registered the Hermanos Lee trademark, which raised doubts about Lee’s future in WWE.
When it comes to Dralistico’s future in AEW, Bryan Alvarez has already confirmed that his contract ends in December and there is no clear information on whether he will continue with the company.
