Stephanie Vaquer has been experiencing ups and downs in WWE lately, as she lost the Women’s World Championship to Liv Morgan at Money in the Bank and is now dealing with a new injury, which is turning out to be more dramatic than initially expected.
According to Tuesday’s Wrestling Observer Radio, despite having wrestled at WWE live events held in Honolulu, Hawaii, at Neal S. Blaisdell Arena on Oct. 16 and 17, Vaquer is currently not medically cleared to compete.
The situation is quite confusing, as she was injured at Money in the Bank on Oct. 10, was medically cleared, competed at the shows in Hawaii and is now injured again.
Despite the injury, the Chilean appeared on last night’s Raw in a backstage segment with Becky Lynch, which also featured Adam Pearce. The Raw general manager, in fact, scheduled a match between Vaquer and Lynch for a future Raw, once the Chilean is fully recovered.
The winner will earn a shot at Morgan’s Women’s World Title.
Liv Morgan won the title from Vaquer herself at Money in the Bank, after having lost the title during a live event in Chile.
