Add as a preferred source on Google El Hijo del Vikingo has captured another major title in AAA.
At Noche de los Grandes on Saturday at Arena Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico, Vikingo defeated El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. to become the new AAA Latin American Champion.
Vikingo came to the match alongside Dorian Roldan and Omos, continuing the alliance that had been built over the past several weeks. On May 2, Roldan informed the former AAA Mega Champion that he would receive a shot at the Latin American title, while Wagner Jr. was defending a reign that began in August 2025.
The match broke down in the closing stretch. Galeno Del Mal appeared and tried to neutralize Omos, while Mini Vikingo also got involved and attacked Vikingo with a springboard dropkick.
Even so, Vikingo survived in the end. He hit Wagner Jr. with a 630 senton and picked up the win.
After the match, Vikingo quickly left the ring and celebrated with Roldan and Omos at ringside.
