AAA could be adding another major event to its summer schedule as the promotion continues to expand its slate of specials.

According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, the company has been internally working on the possibility of holding Verano de Escándalo on Saturday, July 25. However, the plan has not been fully finalized.

The situation became more uncertain after Triplemanía 34 was expanded to two nights for the first time in history. WWE officially announced that AAA’s biggest annual event will take place on September 11 and September 13, with the second night set for Arena CDMX in Mexico City.

If Verano de Escándalo remains on the schedule, AAA would have three major specials in less than two months, a sign that TKO intends to accelerate the Mexican promotion’s integration into its event ecosystem.

Before that, AAA will hold Noche de Los Grandes, which has also been expanded to two nights. The first part will take place this Saturday, May 30, at Arena Monterrey in Monterrey, with a listed start time of 8 PM ET.

The card features El Grande Americano vs. Original El Grande Americano in a Mask vs. Mask match, as well as El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. vs. El Hijo del Vikingo for the AAA Latin American Championship, Laredo Kid vs. Rey Fenix for the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship, and Pagano & Psycho Clown vs. War Raiders for the AAA World Tag Team Championship.

On the second week, June 6, Bayley, Lola Vice, and La Catalina will face Las Tóxicas.
