Jasper Troy, now going by Kairo D. Reign, wants to spend the next 12 months showing his range and proving he is a main event attraction.
Reign discussed his plans with Patricki Chites of Wrestling Noticias following his WWE exit, which was confirmed on Friday, September 4.
Asked what fans can expect from this new chapter, Reign said he wants to stand out.
“I wanted to be different…. I want to show personality, range, prove that I am a main event attraction 1of1 I look at these next 12 months to show the world who KD is why you need to keep in tune with one of the hottest new free agents on the market.”
Asked whether he has interest in working for another company, AEW included, once his 30-day non-compete is up, Reign said his priority is providing for his family and landing consistent bookings. He also said he wants to be a profitable addition for any promotion that shows interest.
“I have a family to provide for I’m focused on gaining opportunities to put food on my table and being a profitable income resource for any promotion that shows interest at this point all my energy is working towards gaining consistency with bookers and promoters across the world.”
On the feedback he received in the months before his release, Reign said the conversations centered on his promos and fine-tuning his character, and nothing in them struck him as alarming.
“Talked a lot about making the most of the opportunities I’m given working on promo performances how to perfect the character the little details subtleties and what not nothing that was alarming personally I wasn’t too worried about it it’s a business and I realized the reality of my situation awhile ago.”
Reign won the first season of WWE LFG and signed with WWE in 2022, still under the Troy name. His run as WWE Speed Champion lasted 105 days, from November 11, 2025, to February 24, 2026.
