Flammer will defend the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship against La Catalina at TripleManía 34 in Mexico City.
La Catalina earned the title shot at Sunday’s Ola de Calor, winning a Gauntlet Match that also included Adelicious, Lady Shani, Thea Hail, and La Hiedra.
Lady Shani eliminated Adelicious before falling to Thea Hail. La Catalina then knocked off Hail and advanced to the final stretch against La Hiedra.
Flammer attempted to interfere on behalf of her Las Tóxicas stablemate, storming the ring with the title belt. La Catalina dodged the shot, though, causing Flammer to accidentally nail La Hiedra instead. The Chilean then tossed Flammer out of the ring, finished off La Hiedra, and won the match.
The TripleManía 34 bout won’t be the first recent clash between the two over the title. At Verano de Escándalo on August 8, the two competed in a Triple Threat that also featured Lady Shani. La Catalina had all but put Shani away when Flammer swooped in, dumped the Chilean out of the ring, and stole the pinfall to retain.
Flammer has held the championship since August 12, 2023, when she defeated Taya Valkyrie at TripleManía XXXI. Her reign is already the longest in the title’s history.
Night two of TripleManía 34 is set for September 13 at Arena CDMX in Mexico City.
