Immediately after the end of the August 31 Monday Night RAW tapings, held tonight, August 28, at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, WWE has now begun taping the September 4 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, which will air on USA Network.
The biggest highlight of the night will be a match between CM Punk and Johnny Gargano for the Undisputed WWE Championship. See the complete results below:

The show opens with an enraged Gunther heading to the ring and calling out Sami Zayn. Zayn emerges through the crowd and confronts The Ring General.
CM Punk is speaking with General Manager Nick Aldis backstage when he encounters Candice LeRae and Johnny Gargano, once again slumped over a production crate. Punk fails to lift Gargano’s spirits before LeRae argues that he deserves an Undisputed WWE Championship opportunity. Gargano suddenly rises and challenges Punk to a title match in the main event, which Aldis makes official.
6-Woman Tag Team Match: Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Tatum Paxley defeated Fatal Influence (WWE Women’s United States Champion Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, and Lainey Reid)
After the match, Jade Cargill, Michin and B-Fab attack Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley, sparking a massive brawl. The two trios are announced for a match at WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event.
Paige interrupts Nikki Bella’s backstage interview with Cathy Kelley, revisiting her August 28 return, when she attacked Nikki and cost her WWE Women’s United States Championship match against Jacy Jayne.
Interim WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green comes to the ring alongside Nick Aldis and a doctor. After interruptions from Nia Jax and Lash Legend, Green is announced to defend her title against Jax on the September 11 SmackDown in Mexico City.
