[Spoilers] New Match Added to Sunday Night’s Main Event at WWE SmackDown Tapings

WWE confirmed another match for Sunday Night’s Main Event during Friday’s tapings of the September 4 SmackDown, held today in Cleveland, Ohio.

Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Tatum Paxley will face Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab in a Six-Woman Tag Team Match.

The matchup had been in the works for several days. Wrestling Noticias had previously reported Flair, Bliss, and Paxley against Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab as the most recent plan, replacing an earlier idea that would have pitted the trio against Fatal Influence.

The taped SmackDown from Cleveland further fueled the rivalry. Charlotte Flair and Tatum Paxley defeated Fatal Influence in a non-title Tag Team Match.

After the match, Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab attacked Flair and Paxley, setting the stage for Sunday Night’s Main Event.

Notably, Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab already defeated Flair and Bliss in a Six-Woman Tag Team Match at May’s Saturday Night’s Main Event. Rhea Ripley served as the third partner in that bout. This time, Tatum Paxley fills that role.

Sunday Night’s Main Event takes place September 6 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.
