The Hart family could be the next major pro-wrestling dynasty to get the Hollywood treatment.
According to WrestleVotes Radio, several major names in the film industry have shown strong interest in bringing the family’s story to the big screen. Some discussions have reportedly already taken place, and a top-tier production company is said to be interested in getting involved with the project.
As of now, however, there is no confirmation that the movie has been greenlit, nor is there any official word on a cast, script, or release date.
This is not the first time the idea has made the rounds. In 2024, Natalya sparked rumors about a possible Hart family movie when she tagged Rory Culkin and Yale Productions in a post. At the time, it was reported that serious discussions had already taken place, though there was no completed script or final approval.

The Hart family’s story has more than enough material for a major production. Led by Stu Hart in Calgary, Canada, the Harts created Stampede Wrestling and helped produce legendary names such as Bret Hart and Owen Hart.
Bret was also the focus of one of the most important documentaries in wrestling history, Hitman Hart: Wrestling with Shadows, which was released in 1998 and covered his career, his family, and the Montreal Screwjob.
Interest in pro-wrestling-related films has grown following The Iron Claw, the A24 production about the Von Erich family that received significant attention in Hollywood.
