Add as a preferred source on Google IYO SKY took an important step forward in the Queen of the Ring tournament on Monday’s episode of WWE RAW from the Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy.
The Japanese star defeated Giulia, Roxanne Perez, and Lash Legend in a first-round Fatal 4-Way Match, securing her spot in the next round.
The match was highly competitive. In the closing stretch, Legend hit Giulia with the Lash Extension. When she went for the pinfall, however, SKY came off the top rope to break up the count.
Moments later, IYO took advantage of Giulia being down in the middle of the ring, climbed back to the top turnbuckle, and hit the Moonsault before scoring the pinfall victory.
With the win, SKY now awaits the winner of another Fatal 4-Way Match on her side of the bracket, featuring Bayley, Raquel Rodriguez, Jacy Jayne, and Kiana James.
