John Cena has WWE fans talking again after another cryptic post on his official Instagram account.
In a recent post, the 17-time world champion shared an image of Charlie Dempsey with no caption or explanation, as he often does on his profile. Naturally, that was enough to spark speculation about the NXT wrestler potentially being involved in plans tied to Cena.
Dempsey, the son of William Regal, is currently one of the names in BirthRight, a stable that also includes Lexis King, Uriah Connors, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, and Arianna Grace. The group has been featured regularly on the developmental brand.
The post also stands out because of its timing. Cena remains tied to the John Cena Classic concept, which was announced at Backlash in Tampa, Florida, as a new idea built around mixing established WWE names with rising talent.

At this point, there is no confirmation that Dempsey is part of the tournament plans, or that the post is directly connected to any future announcement.
Even so, the timing has increased fan curiosity, especially since Cena has already shown interest in using his current position to give more visibility to NXT talent.
Dempsey is also coming off a recent loss to Shiloh Hill on WWE NXT on May 26, when Hill picked up what was treated as an important win on the brand’s weekly programming.
