Add as a preferred source on Google Kelani Jordan and Kendal Grey will face off again next week on WWE NXT, this time in a No. 1 Contender’s Match for the NXT Women’s Championship.
The winner will challenge Lola Vice at the Great American Bash, a premium live event set for June 28 at 7 p.m. ET, airing on The CW in the United States.
The announcement came during Tuesday’s episode of NXT, when Vice went to the ring to talk about her win over Izzi Dame last week. The champion was interrupted by Jordan, Grey, and Wren Sinclair, all of whom have recently been involved in the title picture.
Jordan said she had already beaten both Sinclair and Grey, while Kendal pointed out that she won the Iron Survivor Challenge. As the argument escalated, Lola decided to put Jordan and Grey against each other, with the winner earning a title shot at the Great American Bash.
Vice won the NXT Women’s Championship at Stand & Deliver, where she defeated Jacy Jayne and Kendal Grey in a Triple Threat Match.
With that, the Great American Bash now has its first major women’s match taking shape.
