Add as a preferred source on Google Jon Moxley made no effort to hide his frustration with Will Ospreay after their loss to the Young Bucks at AEW Redemption on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec.
The trouble started when Nick Jackson was left disoriented by a collision with Ospreay. While the Aerial Assassin showed concern and asked the referee to check on Nick, Moxley didn’t hesitate to demand the attack continue.
In the match’s closing stretch, Moxley hit Nick with two Paradigm Shifts and a Death Rider before going to grab a chair to keep the assault going. Ospreay stepped in to stop him, allowing Matt Jackson to catch Moxley with a superkick. The Bucks then turned on Moxley to close out the match.
Backstage, Ospreay explained that he knew about Nick’s history of neck problems and wasn’t sure he wanted to exploit that vulnerability. Moxley showed up during the interview and criticized the hesitation. He warned that he didn’t want to see Ospreay learn the hard way not to “pull the trigger.”
On the July 15 episode of Dynamite, Moxley had already warned Ospreay about the final steps before his AEW World Championship match at All In: “You pull the trigger, no matter who the target is.”
Ospreay has followed the Death Riders since July 1, after receiving the group’s emblem from Moxley.
