Kevin Owens, who has been out of action since March 2025, made another appearance in new WWE content and used it to joke about the lack of answers regarding his future with the company.

The segment is part of “Is It Toxic?,” a new show hosted by Kit Wilson exclusive to Club WWE, filmed at what’s being called the Kevin Owens Living Room Studios. In the episode, Wilson debated whether snoring counts as toxic behavior while Owens tried to pick out tiles for his kitchen.

Annoyed by the noise coming from the Pretty Deadly member, Owens said:

“The point is, I’ve asked you to be quiet. You know what I’m trying to do right now? I’m under a lot of stress, okay? No one in the company has been calling me back.

So I’m trying to prepare for the future because I don’t know what this place holds for me. So I’m trying to figure out these kitchen tiles. I think maybe I have a future as an interior decorator.”

I need to focus. I’ve never done this before. So please, just respect the one thing I ask you: just don’t be loud!”

Some accounts treated the comments as a revelation that wrestlers and officials have cut off contact with Owens, but the context makes clear this is a comedic segment. The content itself was put out to promote an official WWE program, with Owens playing up a possible future as an interior decorator.

The time away from the ring, though, is real. Owens hasn’t wrestled since March 1, 2025, when he beat Sami Zayn in an Unsanctioned Match at Elimination Chamber. He underwent cervical fusion surgery afterward and still has no official timetable to return.

Even while sidelined, Owens remains directly involved with WWE. He’s part of the third season of WWE LFG as a coach for young talent and is still listed on the company’s official roster.
