Bron Breakker could be in a very different spot in WWE right now. The original plan for The Vision called for a long build toward turning him into one of the company’s top stars.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Seth Rollins was supposed to stay on as Breakker’s mentor for roughly a year. After WrestleMania 42, Paul Heyman would orchestrate a double-cross, helping Breakker turn on Rollins and take control of the stable.

The shoulder injury Rollins suffered in October 2025, however, forced WWE to move the entire storyline up by several months. Breakker and Bronson Reed attacked the then-World Heavyweight Champion on the October 13 episode of RAW, just two days after Crown Jewel, ending his run with The Vision.

The following week, Rollins was forced to vacate the World Heavyweight Championship. Heyman, Breakker and Reed justified the attack, while WWE began presenting the young star as the group’s new top star.

The direction, though, appears to have shifted again. Meltzer noted that Breakker has lost some momentum in recent months, while Oba Femi has been getting a bigger push on WWE programming. Recent reports also suggest that Breakker has been frustrated with his creative direction.

Femi defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42, won the King of the Ring by beating Jey Uso, and is now set to face The Beast Incarnate again in a Hell in a Cell Match at SummerSlam, scheduled for Aug. 1-2 in Minneapolis.

Breakker, meanwhile, remains prominent but removed from the world title picture as a singles competitor. He and Austin Theory won back the World Tag Team Championship from The Street Profits on the July 6 episode of RAW, following interference from Maxxine Dupri.
