Kevin Owens remains sidelined from WWE rings, but he made another appearance alongside Kit Wilson in new content posted on social media.

The former Universal Champion appeared in the first episode of the “Is It Toxic?” series, filmed at his own house. During the comedy segment, Wilson joked about Owens’ snoring while Owens looked over kitchen tile options.

Owens then said he was under a lot of pressure, joking that no one in the company had been returning his calls.

“The point is, I’ve asked you to be quiet. You know what I’m trying to do right now? I’m under a lot of stress, okay? No one in the company has been calling me back.”

“So I’m trying to prepare for the future because I don’t know what this place holds for me. So I’m trying to figure out these kitchen tiles. I think maybe I have a future as an interior decorator.”

“I need to focus. I’ve never done this before. So please, just respect the one thing I ask you: just don’t be loud!”

Despite the lines, it’s nothing more than Owens joking around about WWE — though there’s a grain of truth to it when it comes to his future. The Canadian remains connected to the company during his recovery, working as a coach on the third season of WWE LFG and even appearing on the NXT Great American Bash pre-show on June 28.

Owens underwent single-level neck fusion surgery in July 2025 after the injury that led to the cancellation of his match against Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41. His last match came on March 1 of that year, when he defeated Sami Zayn in an Unsanctioned Match at Elimination Chamber.

An update released in March indicated Owens would be reevaluated over the summer, with WWE hopeful for a return at some point in 2026.
