Kofi sounds happier by the day with his move to AEW alongside Austin Creed. Just days after debuting at All In, the former WWE star raved about the environment he’s found in Tony Khan’s promotion.

Speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show Tuesday, Kofi focused on the freedom AEW gives its wrestlers to let their passion show in the ring. He singled out Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay, who main-evented All In at Wembley Stadium.

“Omega and Ospreay, what incredible athletes. Being able to tell stories through body language. They do so many little things, you just can’t help but to be drawn into the matches. People are given freedom to allow their passion to dictate what they do in the ring. There’s no shackles, there’s no restraints [in AEW]. Wembley felt larger than life.”

Ospreay defeated Omega with a Hidden Blade to capture his first AEW World Championship in front of the London crowd.

Kofi had a historic night of his own at Wembley. Teaming with Austin Creed as The New Level, he showed up as Swerve Strickland’s surprise partner in the Trios Roulette Royale. They won the match and captured the AEW World Trios Championship.

Kofi revealed that he and Creed signed their AEW contracts less than 24 hours before All In.
