AEW to Hold Special Episode of Collision on Chris Jericho’s Cruise

AEW is set to hold an unusual episode of Collision on November 7. The show will air live from Chris Jericho’s Rock ’N’ Wrestling Rager at Sea while the ship is still docked in Miami.

Fightful Select was first to report the plans, and AEW later confirmed them. The episode will be held aboard the Norwegian Jewel, which will carry the seventh edition of Jericho’s long-running cruise from Miami to Bimini in the Bahamas.

Speaking with TMZ, Jericho confirmed that the episode will be AEW’s first live broadcast from the cruise.

“We are, for the first time ever, doing a live episode of ‘Collision’ from the boat itself.”

AEW held an episode of Dynamite during the cruise’s January 2020 sailing, but that show was taped in advance. That episode is remembered for Kenny Omega and Hangman Page defeating SCU to win the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

Jericho also said the production team had to work through issues with the satellite connection, Wi-Fi, generators, and thousands of feet of cable to make the live broadcast possible. AEW’s official schedule does not yet list a start time for the episode.

The cruise is set to run from November 7 to 11, and its announced lineup includes Kofi, Austin Creed, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, The Great Muta, and Harley Cameron. Currently available cabins start at $1,560 per person, including taxes.
