Kyle Fletcher to Defend AEW International Title in Triple Threat at All In: London

AEW has added a major title match to the All In card, set for August 30 at Wembley Stadium in London.

Kyle Fletcher will defend the AEW International Championship against Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita in a triple threat match. The bout was announced on this Wednesday’s Dynamite, with Don Callis laying out the plans for all three men.

Leading into the announcement, Fletcher had said he wanted his fourth title defense in a fourth different country. Callis then revealed that Takeshita would receive the rematch he’d been owed, before catching the champion off guard by adding Okada to the match.

The storyline between the three traces back to Double or Nothing in May, where Takeshita defeated Okada to capture the AEW International Championship and end the Rainmaker’s reign of over 300 days.

After the match, Fletcher returned and attacked Takeshita, officially ending their alliance.

Just over a month later, on the July 8 Dynamite “Beach Break,” Fletcher beat Takeshita to win the title for the first time in his career. Okada has since made it clear he wants the belt back as well.

All three central figures in the AEW International Championship’s recent history will now collide at Wembley, with Fletcher looking to keep the title within the Don Callis Family and Takeshita seeking to reclaim it.
