AEW has added another title match to the All In: London card. Kevin Knight will defend the TNT Championship against Darby Allin in a Falls Count Anywhere Match.
Allin issued the challenge on the August 8 edition of AEW Collision, pointing out that Knight attacked him while he was strapped to a stretcher at Double or Nothing, right after his AEW World Championship loss to MJF. Knight initially brushed off the challenge and turned his attention to Chris Jericho instead.
On this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, Knight successfully retained the TNT Championship against Jericho. Following the defense, AEW finally confirmed Knight vs. Allin for the Wembley Stadium show.
Knight and Allin have already faced off twice in singles action this year. On May 6, Allin defeated Knight in a match for the AEW World Championship. Just over two months later, on July 22, Knight evened the score by beating Allin for the TNT Championship, using the title belt during the match.
At Grand Slam: Mexico on August 5, Allin also scored the pinfall on Knight in a trios match after Chris Jericho hit the champion with the Judas Effect. That result set the stage for Allin’s challenge.
Knight captured the TNT Championship at Dynasty in April, winning a Casino Gauntlet Match after Kyle Fletcher vacated the title.
AEW All In: London takes place on August 30 at Wembley Stadium in London.
