Lola Vice is back in the mix for the WWE NXT Women’s Championship. In the main event of Tuesday’s NXT, held at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, Vice defeated Kelani Jordan and Kali Armstrong in a Triple Threat Match.

The match was defined by Armstrong’s physical dominance, with Jordan and Vice repeatedly forced to team up just to keep her in check. That alliance, however, never lasted long.

In the closing moments, Jordan connected with a 450 Splash on Armstrong. Before she could make the cover, Kelani was caught off guard by Vice and sent tumbling out of the ring. Lola took advantage of the opening and made the pin to win the match.

With the win, Vice became the new No. 1 contender to Kendal Grey’s NXT Women’s Championship. WWE has not yet announced a date for the title match.

Vice and Grey previously met in the main event of NXT Great American Bash on June 28. Grey hit the Shades of Grey to end Lola’s 85-day reign and capture the title for the first time in her career.

Grey made her first title defense last week, defeating Nattie. Vice even lent a hand during the chaos stirred up by Karmen Petrovic and Nikkita Lyons.
