Tony D’Angelo will once again put the NXT Championship on the line against Naraku next Tuesday, July 21, on another live episode of WWE NXT.

The match was announced by Robert Stone on this week’s show after the champion barged into the general manager’s office and demanded a rematch against the Japanese star.

Stone said he was trying to protect D’Angelo from his own decisions, but he ended up making the title match official anyway. D’Angelo accepted, though he made it clear that waiting seven days was too long, and he stormed out of the office to track down Naraku himself.

Shortly before that, Naraku had defeated Tate Wilder with Into the Abyss. D’Angelo showed up right after the match, and a brawl broke out between the two, with several security guards forced to step in and try to pull them apart. Naraku even tried to spit his poison mist at the champion, but ended up hitting one of the guards instead.

This will mark the second time D’Angelo and Naraku have gone head-to-head for the NXT Championship. Their first meeting came at The Great American Bash on June 28, with D’Angelo picking up the win.

D’Angelo won the NXT Championship back in April at Stand & Deliver.
