Lola Vice, who was recently called up to WWE’s main roster, commented on the worrying spot that she was involved in during her match at Money in the Bank on Saturday.
At the time, Vice applied a sleeper hold to Jacy Jayne and threw herself backward, with the intention of falling onto the ladder. The spot, however, did not go as planned, and they were thrown out of the ring.
In an appearance on WWE Ahora after the event, Vice commented on the incident and recalled that she was scared by the situation.
“I had Jacy (Jayne) in a choke and when I put her to sleep, she fell back and I fell with her. I thought that was the end of it, but suddenly the ladder went backwards, and literally, it got us out of the ring. Because of that, I didn’t win Money in the Bank. It hurt a lot and was very scary, but looking back, thank God it came out like this because it could have been very ugly. I think an injury in a Ladder match would have been rough. They are not for everyone, but thank God I’m strong and I was able to do it.”
Despite the incident, nothing more serious happened. Right after the match, fans recorded both Vice and Jayne leaving the ring normally.
