Lola Vice officially joined the WWE Raw roster on Monday by signing a contract with Adam Pearce, and she already has a big name willing to help her backstage.
According to Vice, Paul Heyman gave her advice during this week’s episode of Raw.
During a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, Vice said she has been seeking guidance from a number of people, and she singled out the help she received from the WWE Hall of Famer.
“Yeah, I’ve looked for advice from a lot of people. Heyman actually helped me a lot this past Monday.”
Vice’s comments carried extra weight because Heyman was shown backstage watching her Raw segment on a monitor. Asked about the possibility of becoming the next Paul Heyman Girl, she made no secret of her interest.
“An advocate? That would be iconic. I didn’t know he was watching me this week, but I really like that. We’ll see. It’s exciting. That would be iconic, and I’d really enjoy that. I think it would be something special.”
Still, Vice made it clear she thinks she can establish herself on the main roster on her own, though she wouldn’t pass up the chance to work with Heyman if it came along.
“I think there’s a way I can establish myself, but if that opportunity comes, I’d jump on it. I could do both. For now, I’m focused on winning Money in the Bank, and let’s see what happens after.”
Vice is in a good spot in WWE right now. She won her Raw in-ring debut on Sept. 14, beating Raquel Rodriguez and Kelani Jordan in a Triple Threat match to qualify for the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
A week later, Adam Pearce made her move to Raw official in a segment that ended with a confrontation between Vice and Roxanne Perez. Perez has also qualified for the ladder match.
Vice won the NXT Women’s Championship at Stand & Deliver and held the title for 85 days. Money in the Bank is set for Oct. 10 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.
